Built-in the 14th century and surrounded by charming temples & shrines, Gadi Sagar Lake was Jaisalmer’s crucial water supply till the 20th century. However, the lake now almost dries up during summers, but as monsoons arrive, it fills with water and is a much favorite with waterfowls and other migratory birds.
The magnificent havelis of Jaisalmer are a fine reminder of its affluent past. Richly carved facades, exquisite oriel windows, ornate balconies, and fine detailing of these havelis bear the imprints of the skilled craftsmanship of the days gone by. Nathmal Ki Haveli, Patwon Ki Haveli, and Salim Singh Ki Haveli are the three renowned havelis of Jaisalmer.
No trip to Jaisalmer is complete without a camel safari to the exotic Sam Sand Dunes. Spectacular desert sunset, star-spangled skies, glowing bonfires, strains of folklore, rhythmic folk dances, and delicious local food- live your desert dream!

Just come back from an amazing 2 week trip to India. First we done the golden triangle which we chose to do the train trip from Delhi to Agra a must you have to do if not just for the experience. All the cities were wonderful. In mumbia we done a city tour and ended our trip in the taj for afternoon tea another must. They really looked after us thank you all.
