Sikkim

A Himalayan Esxperience

A sparkling gem of the north-east, Sikkim is the enchanting window to the majestic Kanchenjunga, the third-highest peak in the world. Sweeping vistas, deep-mouthed gorges, dense rhododendron forests, and lofty mountain-passes create its breathtaking panorama. A trekker’s paradise and an adventure buff’s delight, Sikkim is a perfect holiday destination.

Inhabited primarily by Tibetan Buddhists and Nepali Hindus, Sikkim is home to exquisite mural-filled monasteries and stunning Hindu temples, both existing in harmony. Book your Sikkim tour package and explore this little Indian state blessed with the bounties of nature.

Sikkim Special

Panoramic Landscape

Stunning views of the mist-wrapped Mt. Kanchenjunga, pristine lakes, quaint villages, sweeping tea gardens, and blooming rhododendrons create a panoramic masterpiece. Walk up to Tashi View Point in Gangtok, check out the snow-covered Nathu La Pass, and drive up to the frozen Tsomgo Lake for a delightful Sikkim experience.

Spiritual Monasteries

Sikkim is dotted with beautiful monasteries where fluttering prayer flags and tinkling prayer bells welcome you to their tranquil ambiance. Do Drul Chorten, Rumtek Monastery, Pemayangtse Monastery, Ngadak Monastery, and Tashiding Monastery are some of the beautiful monasteries of Sikkim.

Adventure in Sikkim

Sikkim’s mountainous terrain, alpine forests, endless glaciers, and splashing rivers offer you ample opportunities to raise your adrenalin levels. Trek the precarious forest trails, go white-water rafting in cold waters of Teesta, go mountain-biking on rocky trails, and go tandem paragliding in Gangtok. Thrill-seekers may try rock climbing, and seasoned mountaineers may challenge the Himalayan summits in Sikkim. Don't miss the Yak Safari on the rolling meadows near Lake Tsomgo.

- Memorable Experience !

Caper Travel designed a three week tour to Rajasthan and Goa for four of us in a private car during March. The driver, guides and everyone associated with the organisation were professional, reliable and punctual! We had an amazing time, made even better because of the good accomodation choices and extra additions, such as elephant and camel ride.
Thank you so much Caper for giving us a truly memorable experience of your beautiful country!
