A quick boat ride from the Gateway of India takes you to Elephanta caves located on Gharapuri Island. This cave complex, predominantly dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva, is believed to have been carved during 450 AD to 750 AD and is renowned for outstanding Shaivaite depictions and gorgeous reliefs from Indian mythology.
This pretty seaside boulevard, with its row of twinkling streetlights, is rightfully called the Queen’s Necklace. Visit here to watch the sky & the sea change colors at sunrise & sunset and soak in the undying spirit of the city.
Designed by George Wittet of The Gateway of India fame, this spectacular structure is a treasure-trove of arts & artifacts from various parts of the world. Indian sculptures & scriptures, Chinese snuff bottles, European oil paintings, antique coins & weapons, jade & ivory artifacts, and fine textiles are some of the priceless artifacts displayed here.
A bustling beach, much crowded in the evenings, Juhu Beach exemplifies the vibrant spirit of Mumbai. Walk on the sands, eat a roasted corn-on-cob, try some delicious bhel puri, and watch the sun go down the horizon.

Mumbai’s street food is simply delicious! Tickle your taste buds with piping hot Vada Pav, tangy Pani Puri, crunchy Bhel Puri & Sev Puri, and delicious Bombay Sandwich. Non-vegetarians must visit Mohmmad Ali Road for delicious kebabs & biryani. Check the quirky cafes in Colaba Causeway and sip some hot tea with Maska Pav at the Iranian cafes in Mumbai.
The best time to visit Mumbai would be after monsoons from September to March.

Just come back from an amazing 2 week trip to India. First we done the golden triangle which we chose to do the train trip from Delhi to Agra a must you have to do if not just for the experience. All the cities were wonderful. In mumbia we done a city tour and ended our trip in the taj for afternoon tea another must. They really looked after us thank you all.
