PACIFIC ASIA TRAVEL ASSOCIATION INDIA CHAPTER

The PATA India Chapter was established in 1974 with a handful of members. It has grown to include 245 members and is one of the most dynamic Chapters in the Asia Pacific region today. With major support from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India which is the main and largest PATA India member organization, the Chapter includes State Tourism Boards, Carriers, Hotels, Travel Agents, Tour Operators, Service Providers and other travel-related companies.

Prestigious National Tourism Award was conferred to Caper Travel Company (P) Ltd as the Best Tour Operator for excellence, growth and contribution in Tourism Industry by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The Ministry short-lists, recognizes and presents the awards every year to the Best Tour Operators, Hotels, Airlines etc. at different levels and categories to motivate them to give their best to the Industry.

The Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) has been recognized as the voice of travel and tourism industry in India. It was established in 1951 with a vision to safeguard the interest of those who are engaged in travel industry, to promote its growth and protect the interest of the traveling masses.

The Caper Travel Company Pvt. Ltd. (India) is a member of this organization. 

The Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), the national body of tourism industry in India was  formed in the year 1982. IATO is now recognized globally. It maintains a constant interaction with its international member bodies including ASITA, NATO and USTOA.

A group of airlines shared a mutual collaboration in April 1945 forming the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in Havana, Cuba, to represent, lead and serve the airline industry. IATA has reached in 126 nations forming more than 230 member airlines over these 6 decades.

The Caper Travel Company Pvt. Ltd. (India) is proud to be a part of this esteemed association handling 93% of scheduled international air traffic. We are serving our best to help airlines in simplifying the processes and increasing passenger convenience while reducing costs and improving efficiency.

The Ministry of Tourism, government of India, is responsible for the formulation of national policies  to promote tourism in India. It also liable for co-ordination of activities of different Central Government Agencies, State Governments and the Private Sector for the development of tourism in the country. Union Minister for Tourism heads the Ministry.

Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF), a national body, has the main aim of organizing, supporting and supplying a base for excursions for mountaineering, rock climbing, skiing, trekking. It also encourages adventurous activities and promotes work of environmental protection in the Himalayas.

The Caper Travel Company Pvt. Ltd. (India) is recognized as a member of this body.

The Adventure Tour Operators Association of India works towards promoting adventure tourism in India. It was established with the main objective to create global awareness about the Indian potential of adventure tourism.

System Management Registration (SMR) is amongst one of the leading certification agencies worldwide. It has done the certification assessment of several companies that are into different disciplines. Its head office is in Seoul, Korea.

The Caper Travel Company Pvt. Ltd. (India) is certified by ISO-SMR.

Established in 1986, the Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) is a dynamicorganization. TAFI aims to regulate the travel industry in India according to stable business ethics. Initially a team of 8  influentialtravel agents, the membership has risen to 800 today including Active, Associate and Allied members from across India and the Caper Travel Company Pvt. Ltd. is one of them.
